wow, cool brushing as always...I like the composition that fits perfectly to the little bird guardian...very cute with the pole (?), it it standing on one leg? :D
The comic will look awesome!
:iconhyptosis:
yeah he is, I only spent like an hour on this entire thing though, and each time I look at it I see another mistake I'll have to fix before putting it in the comic.. but it is one of the fastest forest paintings I've ever done.
:iconpandracchio:
oh one hour!!!??? What drugs do you use?! :D
:iconhyptosis:
lol, if you saw the large version you'd see there was almost no detail. It is all just blobs of color. I'm trying to learn to do this so I can speed paint my backgrounds in my comic, but cities and stuff are way harder.
:iconpandracchio:
ah ok, but I guess it's common in speedpainting...or do you know of some secret way to avoid that? :O
:iconhyptosis:
Nah, I barely know anything. X_x I'd love to be able to paint detailed, realistic, gorgeous... stuff. =]
:iconpandracchio:
I'm sure it's all about will and practice man! :)

Patches of different hues melting into each other and yet distinct, a very soft warm light, and the guardian on the pole, it all goes to make it a "poetic" [link] luck with the comic!
:iconivyesse:
I've no idea how that "link" thing came on the comment. It should've read "poetic [link] luck with the comic!" It's late and I'm sleepy, probably leaned on my computer!
